Definition of Plagiarism :
Plagiarism is the unethical practice of copying someone else's work, ideas, data, or words without giving appropriate credit. It includes, but is not limited to:
- Copying text from other published sources without proper citation.
- Rewording someone else’s ideas without acknowledgment.
- Submitting the same work to multiple journals (self-plagiarism) without disclosure.
- Using data, images, tables, or graphs without proper permission and credit.
Our Policy
- Zero Tolerance:
We have a strict zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism. Any form of plagiarism will lead to the immediate rejection of the article.
- Plagiarism Check:
All submitted articles will be screened for plagiarism using reliable plagiarism detection software. Articles must have a plagiarism level below 10% excluding references and properly cited quotes.
- Responsibility of Authors and Co-Authors:
- It is the sole responsibility of all authors and co-authors to ensure that their manuscript is free from any form of plagiarism.
- Authors must provide original content and properly acknowledge all sources.
- By submitting a manuscript to Prakriti Darshan, authors agree to abide by this plagiarism policy.
- Consequences of Plagiarism:
- If plagiarism is detected during the review process, the manuscript will be rejected immediately.
- If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article will be retracted, and a notice of retraction will be published.
- Authors found guilty may be blacklisted and banned from future submissions.
- Appeal and Clarifications:
If an author feels that their article has been wrongly flagged for plagiarism, they may appeal by providing supporting evidence for their claims. The editorial board's decision will be final.
